Paul Hyland APFS MCSI, Director, Chartered Financial Planner

After leaving University Paul initially trained as an Accountant before moving into an Analyst role in the Investment Banking sector. He spent eleven years in The City with HSBC and Bank of America before deciding to retrain as a Financial Adviser.

His development was supported by professional qualifications and he qualified as a Chartered Wealth Manager in 2013 and Chartered Financial Planner in 2017.

After working as an IFA for four years he decided to set up his own practice with the support of St. James’s Place. Hyland Financial Planning Ltd was established in 2016 to provide truly holistic, bespoke financial advice.

Paul has experience in dealing with a broad spectrum of clients of differing backgrounds and financial resources, often devising sophisticated solutions to help them achieve their lifetime objectives.

He has a very personal approach and takes time to understand his clients before presenting sometimes complicated strategies in simple terms, cutting out the jargon.



Tom Rowlingson, Financial Planner

Tom’s career in the finance industry started in 2012 with Equiniti Paymaster, one of the largest pension administrators in the UK. Driven by a desire to develop his technical knowledge and gain some exposure to the client-facing side of the industry, he moved into a paraplanning role within the Financial Advice Sector in 2014.

His progression has been supported by professional qualifications and Tom is working towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning by the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Tom’s ambition to become a Financial Adviser came to fruition when he joined Hyland Financial Planning as a Trainee Adviser in 2019.

Tom looks after a variety of clients with a range of needs and is able to build detailed financial plans to help his clients achieve what’s most important to them. He has a very good eye for detail, identifying opportunities which others may miss by taking the time to listen and really understand his clients.



Zoe Constantine, Client Relations and Administration

After completing her studies, Zoe started her career in the retail sector in a customer facing role and has nine years of experience in client service and relations.

Zoe joined Hyland Financial Planning Ltd in 2018 as a Client Relations and Administration Associate. She is often the first point of contact for existing clients and is responsible for dealing with all types of queries and ensuring clients are kept informed along their journey and receive the best possible service and support.

She is extremely well organised and efficient, has an eye for detail and takes a positive, enthusiastic attitude towards solving problems.
